Does it take more faith to pray and receive healing or to pray and not receive healing and still believe?

About Me

My name is Kim Aasland. I have lived many places and experienced many things. Before turning 18 I had already lived in Oregon, Pennsylvania, Alaska, British Columbia, New York, Virginia, Istanbul, Rome and Kano, Nigeria. As an adult I have lived in Minnesota, Austria, Kazakhstan and California, visiting many other countries and places along the way. I have the most loving husband and 4 wonderful children: 3 daughters here on earth and my son in heaven. This blog is about my attempt to process both great gain and great loss in my life.

Why I write

Writing for me is a way to know my soul, God and the intersection of the two. In my most painful moments writing has been a way for me to deal with my unfathomable grief.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5a
